The new director is out of control, firing veteran teachers and hiring her friends. The school also does not provide drinking water for its students. Do not go to school here!! This school is headed for disaster!

This was a not so great experience . The director dawn was too busy to talk to me, as she has been the last 4 times I have been in. i have tired to enroll on 4 occasions but dawn or her enrollment person were too busy to talk to me and asked to get my number. I have friends that went to empire and recommend the this school mainy because of the teachers ms b, and ms Nancy . But because of thier inability to even talk to me, I will now be enrolling in Aveda ... Sorry but not. Your lo$$ my gain

went there on Saturday when information shows they're open and it was closed. bout 7 others in the lot looking confused too. no pick up or voicemail when you call. went back the following Friday in the late afternoon again doors locked building dark but information online shows open. posted on FB bout it letting them know there are no hours listed for the on the building or online except the apparently incorrect ones.

CLEARLY all the new 5 star ratings are from new students who are put up to do it for whatever reason! I heard bad things about this place and actually went in and sat and waited for a friend who was just visiting with someone attending school there and the place was kind of a mess. A big social gathering and mess

The instructor Dawn is so very sweet! I went to empire today to apply for the classes. It seems like new management because this place is very professional and polite. I saw a student cutting a woman's hair and she was just smiling and talking to the woman trying to get to know her and she seemed very confident in what she was doing. The products I saw are very good salon quality products. The students all seemed very happy and polite. I was treated with dignity and Dawn got to know me as a person, not a dollar sign for the tuition. I'm very excited to start classes here and I think the people who made negative reviews should go back to salon now that things changed just to see the difference in the atmosphere. The place is clean and well kept. I don't see people this happy working at Regis or great clips. I will update as I go through my training. =)
