Beautiful park area. A wide variety of trees and a well kept lawn. Perfect for a stroll or a picnic. Plenty of shade and a smooth path. Very calming.

Trees & shrubs need maintenance and new trees with plaques for their genus & species. THIS IS NOT A DOG PARK, though lots of people let their dogs run

Great place to escape the bustle. Could walk the whole thing in less than 10 minutes, or spend a couple hours people watching, enjoying the shade and scenery. Great spot for dog owners.

A quiet portion of the Garden Center / Woodward Park complex tucked behind the the Historical Center. The walking paths are a pleasant place to linger and often populated with neighborhood dogs and their owners who gather in the early evening. So, bring your dog (read the Rules posted at entrance)! My favorite tree is the Dawn Redwood imported from China...will be magnificent when it reaches its full mature height of 150-200 ft.
