I wish I would have read these reviews before making an appointment... I was going to just shrug this off but now that I've had to call them multiple times because they charged me twice for my massage, I'd also like to mention the fact that it seemed like they weren't going to let me leave without selling me a membership.

Earlier this week I set up a 90 min massage at the Mid-Town Tulsa ME today at Noon. Flew into town for business and arraigned my day around this appointment - traveled to the Mid-Town area 1 hour before my appointment so I would not be late. Just as I arrived in the Mid-Town area, got a call from ME asking if I wouldn't mind moving to 12:30 - "an emergency or something came up with the therapist". I reluctantly said yes - what else could I say. Then got a call back 5 minutes later saying my therapist couldn't make it today and did I want to schedule something for tomorrow or another location. I was super disappointed, my schedule was already planned out for the weekend and I was stuck in Mid-Town for 2.5 hours as my ride had already left.

Massage Envy charges you the full cost if you cancel within 24 hours. But they only say "sorry" when they cancel an hour before a 90 min appointment. If they had to credit a member's monthly $60 charge with these inconsiderate short notice cancellations maybe they would have a better reputation.

I understand "things come up" but with other reviewers complaining about these "same day cancellations" this is just bad customer service - one star service. Please don't jerk us around like we have nothing better to do than make monthly $60 payments and then can't get Massage Envy to hold up to their end of the contract.

Do NOT sign up for a membership. you will not be able to cancel for an entire year. No exceptions. I did not even receive the first service and tried to cancel and they still would not allow it. Friendly and great massages but bogus policy. Money SCAM

I have been going here for a few months now, and I have absolutely no complaints about either the customer service or my massage therapist. The monthly membership massage deal is perfect for me, because I need them regularly twice a month during this pregnancy. Dawn is my massage therapist, she is certified for pre-natal massages and she has managed to relieve me of all the sciatica pain which had made it difficult to even drive before I found her... for half the price as what most pre-natal massage therapists try to charge! The ladies at the front desk are wonderful, always available to help and friendly as can be. I knew what I was walking into my first day- this place runs on memberships. People who come in here getting surprised that they try to sell you a membership wouldn't walk into a gym and get surprised when they try to sell a monthly membership after using the gym during a demo. Anyways, that's just my two cents. I highly recommend Massage Envy.

If I could put no stars I would. Awful. Just awful. We've been cancelled on literally the day of our appointment about 4 times now. Two within the last month. Customer service is a joke. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!
