Five stars for the overall experience. Plenty of parking with two ADA spots right in front. Parking for To Go orders, outside tables if desired, friendly staff, can I say cute too? Good food with early bird specials which run from 6-8am. They say they have the best burgers in town.

Food is always tasty here and portions are large. Better to try and miss their lunch rush if you don't have time to wait and don't like crowds. Waitresses make you feel like family.

Spirit River is exceptional, but frustrating. The food and the staff are both top notch, but the tables are laid out in three long rows with no appreciable space between tables in each row. One sometimes has to walk to the back of the restaurant to get past the center row and sit at an open table by the wall.
That is my only criticism.
The portions are HUGE. Seriously. It takes two large plates to serve ham steak and eggs. The toast comes on a third. It's good. So are the steak and eggs, and the omelettes. My wife claims they have the best oatmeal in town.
And we enjoy the wait staff. They're fast, professional, attentive, and delightful.
It's no accident this place is packed every time we go there, but we've never waited longer than 8-10 minutes.
