You would think the name, Donkey Dawgs, has something to do with hotdogs, but you would be wrong. There is nothing about this place about hotdogs. The hotdog I did order was smaller than my pinky finger. These are not even standard hotdogs. They’re cheap tiny hotdogs. Definitely wasn’t impressed with the food or service but I wanted to give it a try and I did.

Great comfort food at cheap prices. Locally owned and operated with friendly staff. A great lunch spot.

Yowza with a side of wowza to go with your Cole slaw. Great atmosphere, ample parking and VIP entrance for those parking in the rear lot. The food is simple and delish! The ladies behind the counter are wicked awesome. On my next trip to VaB, I'll be stopping by DDs, fur sure!

This is a hidden gem! The fried chicken is OFF THE HOOK, easily beating Pollards hands down and twice on Sunday! The owner and staff are always happy to see you, and welcome their customers like family. I am an Executive Chef and I know good food. It is always fresh, they even make their own sausage. If you are ever in need of a fantastic breakfast or lunch with even better prices, this is your best bet!
