I eat at the Hilltop location often. The food is good. A little expensive but a nice spot for lunch. I went there today for lunch and when my buzzer went off to let me know to go to the counter, i walked up and the lady stood there looked pass me and pretended she didn't see me. She walked away and came back with the assistant GM who rang me up. 2017 and racism is more alive than ever. I spend alot of money there and refer alot of people there from the resort i work at...Never again.

I love eating here! Love the food, the atmosphere, photos on the walls, always clean and the employees are nice! They have the BEST sammiches in the area, for sure!

I love eating here. A great variety of healthy and delicious food. I love the ingredients they use and how fresh everything is. The things they sell are also very good. The cane sugar sodas are also very good; it's hard to go wrong here!

My fiancee and I have been to Taste several times and really enjoyed the food. We decided to ask Taste to cater our wedding that we were planning in the VA Beach area. We visited the Hilltop location. They let us know the caterer was not available that day but they took down our information, let us know they would contact us, and gave us some information regarding prices. After not hearing back, my fiancee called several times (2-3) attempting to gain additional information and speak to someone. She received the same response from the store each time, that they would contact us later that day, but they never did. I was amazed when my fiancee told me about the difficulty she was having, so I called the store myself. They again told me the same thing they had told her about giving us a call back later and tried to justify their prior contact with us. We again did not receive a call back that day as they promised. We decided we cannot rely on this restaurant to cater our event. In full disclosure they did eventually call us back, but it was several weeks later after we have already contact and scheduled tastings with other providers. I am disappointed that taste will not be catering our wedding but I will not be spending my money on a company that I cannot rely on to even call us back.

We already love Taste but had an especially wonderful experience today! Today my wife and in laws visited Taste @ Hilltop with our two children. The baby got fussy so she went and sat in one of their leather chairs to nurse him. An employee brought her a big cup of ice water to make sure she stayed hydrated while nursing. She also made sure she had eaten. It was such a kind gesture and made my wife feel really good. Thank you for your kindness!
