Food is amazing. You can't go wrong with the quality. Bartender Lauren was awesome. Friendly and a great resource on what to order. The other bartender was in a bad mood or something. Only spoke to people when absolutely necessary. Regardless, I would go back to eat here. Make sure Lauren is working if you're sitting at the bar.
Update: are here two nights in a row out of convenience. Ended up getting horrible food poisoning and was hospitalized. I will never eat at a Saltgrass again. Btw- this was the only place I ate at while in Waco. Never again.

We celebrated my birthday with a late weekday lunch at Saltgrass. My husband and I shared a grilled chicken and shrimp plate and our son had the tenderloin tips with sweet potato fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and Alex, our waiter gave us excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Love coming here! Good is always fresh and properly cooked...just love this place!! The staff is fantastic as well. All around, one of the best places to eat in Waco....

Excellent meal served with finesse. The decor was rustic and the service fast and friendly. I love that there's a choice of mules. I'm a big fan of the Moscow mule. My grapefruit honey mule was so delicious that I ordered a second! The bread that was brought out was warm and served with whipped butter. The Bleu cheese wedge was crisp and delicious. I have never had quail before so I took a chance on the bacon wrapped quail appetizer. And I'm glad I did. It was wonderful served over Brussels sprouts. I couldn't even begin to finish my pork chop and garlic mashed potatoes,so I took a to-go box home. All in all, a wonderful meal start to finish.

This restaurant has lovely food, all the time. The manager makes sure everything is satisfactory. I love this place! I had the blackened redfish with crab meat, shrimp and a lovely sauce, with green beans.
