I am a developer, flipper and I renovate homes in DC, VA and MD. I've been doing so since 1989 so yes I have been to plenty of settlements and title companies. All I can say is the staff at Answer Title are professional. During one of my transactions they were able to find a solution to one of the most difficult deals I have encountered in a long time. I use Answer Title for all of my settlements. Think about this. I was introduced to Answer Title by a buyer because remember buyers pick the title company that they want to go to settlement with.
Ever since, Answer Title is my "go to" title company. They are super smart woman and men. My interaction has been with Vickie Baxter, Senior Processor and Kathryn Allen, Settlement Agent. In this business, it's hard to find professionals that "do their jobs". Answer Title goes beyond just doing their job.They do great work!! They make sure that both parties the seller and buyer are fully satisfied with the real estate transaction. Yes, no professional is always perfect but my experience with Answer Title has been great!

If you have any issues that come up after you close and request assistance to resolve the issue from this company, they will advise that they are too busy to assist. You will be left to resolve the issue on your own. I recommend finding a settlement company that will assist if anything comes up after settlement. They will not try to assist unless the issue was absolutely their fault. I do not recommend this settlement company.
