Horrible. I pay for the gold coverage and they deny, deny deny. EIther I am too stupid to fill out the claims forms, or - even though I use the same diagnostic company for bloodwork, I'm suddenly getting notes like "can't be identified as insured" and "reduced or discontinued service". I've been submitting claims all year and have yet to get a credit. SEVERE reduction in services and anytime I ask for assistance I get generalized, vague responses that are not helpful

Fewer and fewer doctors take their insurance. Find a better provider. Worst in the region.

It is impossible to follow up on submitted claims. The number on the back of my card "is not a working Carefirst number" and any other googled number I call says to call the number on the back of my card. Umm....? NOT HAPPY!

Impossible to contact for information. I've tried for months to correct the policy information they have for my child and myself. CareFirst continues to send me EOBs that deny payment for services that are covered, because CareFirst will not update the account information. There is no way to contact them, they will not return a call, and they are completely unresponsive to my requests for their assistance to correct their own errors.
