This is a nice place for everyone who’s looking forward to a night of dancing. My girlfriend and I always hit this place whenever we want to let loose and have some fun. Its location is also very convenient for everyone staying in that area. You guys should really check this place out.

Very small basement of a building. Very small stage. Like all these other small venues, sound is cranked up way too loud for the space. Unfriendly young unprofessional staff. Amateur audio engineers that once again crank up the instrumentals over the voice. Also expirenced microphone squelches over the performer. Free water in cups however, bathroom is small and dirty. No parking at all here so you'll need to walk from a garage or get a ride. Almost all restaurants that open around the area open at 530 or so. 930 Club is alot better

Really cool small venue in a trendy neighborhood! The audience is so close to the stage, it's crazy. I love the interaction between the artist and the audience, and it's really convenient to restaurants for before or after the show, and to the metro for easy transportation home!

Witnessed the incredible sold out surprise of a band called Yelle, from France. As a front row participant at U Street, with 48 years on the planet, having seen bands and various artists such as Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rush, Ozzy and Metallica and many many more. Last night's experience was reminiscent of what it "must" have been like to experience The Beatles, during their very early days at The Cavern Club, in Liverpool. There is a intimacy with artist and fan that exists in such a venue. Great sound and great experience. Music heard and felt, resulting in involuntary dancing and amazing fan experience. U Street Music Hall, is certainly a mile marker on anyone's road to fame. The Ed Sullivan show and Johnny Carson are long gone. I certainly hope to read and hear more of the U Street Music Hall. Well appreciated. Artists such as Yelle, put places on the map. Wonderful production by the 930 Club, and a great experience to behold at the U Street Music Hall. Merci Beaucoup.
"Hope to see Yelle on Saturday Night Live, as guest artist."

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, outstanding sound system. I really enjoyed myself here. Not sure what you could do to improve.
