This park has held up amazingly after all these years. It is a baseball lover's "must see" destination. It is laid out well, and it feels comfortable. Try the crab-covered kettle chips for a piece of baseball food bliss.

Great bit of greenery and water features. Plenty of seats to watch the river, enjoy some food. Events are scheduled during summer. Paths are big enough for walking, running, cycling. Also some cool architecture to check out and experience.

Wonderful public park. It has several distinct areas--some right on the water, some set back among trees. There's a wading pool for children. More and more shops and restaurants are opening nearby, making it a good destination.

Nice area for a meal, picnic, walk, or just hanging out. Right next to Nationals Park (baseball stadium). There are trails and metro within walking. On the water, so nice views. Mostly apartments, restaurants, and a brewery. There are several areas to just sit and relax outside. There is a fountain/wading pool when its warm that gets quite popular for families. Parking at a premium and costly.

The wading pool here is a fun place to take toddlers. We took our 3yr old there on a weekend with her cousins and she had a great time, and there are a number of restaurants in walking distance for lunch. It was really hard to find parking the day we went, but I think that was not normal because there was some kind of event happening in the park. I think most normal days it is very easy to find parking very close by.
