The central statue has a great bench for relaxing in the middle of a warm day, but the central caveat is: *if you're able to reach it*. There's no crosswalk to the center island & pretty constant traffic that can be tough to see, so getting to the middle is not without some amount of risk (and virtually inaccessible to anyone not able-bodied). This is unfortunate, as it's otherwise a pretty spot (though perhaps its sense of solitude wouldn't be the same if people could safely reach it).
