The food was fine enough. Creative, tasty, well-made. Not exactly as good as the prices they charge, but it's a local institution in the wealthiest part of the city.
What really left me unsatisfied is that at 9:30 in the evening, they ran out of parking validation tickets and told us there was nothing else to be done. When your website promises parking validation, it's pretty uncool to not deliver and leave your customers stuck spending another $16 that they shouldn't have to.

My wife and I were in town with our kids from out of state, and we were seated immediately without a reservation and the staff bent over backwards to take care of us. They put our double stroller up while we are, offered extras for the kids, and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Clydes of Georgetown!

Great service, great ambiance. We came for a late.night dinner and sat close to the bar. At that time it was more like a bar scene with casual folks having a beer and a burger while watching baseball. Food was ok. I ended up ordering what I thought was a chicken dish and came out as a.sandwich. it never said that on the menu. The crab dip and sliders were decent and my fiancee really liked his lobster shepherds pie.. the place is cozy but next to the bar was loud.

The food is great. I had duck and brownie...duck was great not too big of a fan of the brownie. Ice cream melted to fast because of how warm the brownie was. I like a warm brownie but I would advise to get ice cream on the side. Service was above par and the decore was entertaining. The do have a bar area and it was pretty live during my dinner (soccer was on). Overall great time. Would recommend and visit a second time

Simply exceptional. Always come for one dinner when visiting daughter at Georgetown. Crab tower is back after mob rules won. Absolutely delicious. Crab cakes perfect over corn...scallops perfectly seared and moist. Octopus smoked and delicious. Just an all around solid experience every time. Make a resi on Open Table...you'll be back.
