The one time I've eaten there, I wasn't very impressed. The server wasn't very enjoyable or friendly. And the Rueben sandwich I ordered was far from being great.

Great choice for beer. Food is good. A little dark inside for my taste. Service can sometimes be a little slow.

We stopped into Finn McCool’s on a rainy night to get a bite to eat after a D.C. United game. Be careful on the weekends – we headed upstairs and were told to seat ourselves. There was a DJ blasting house music, even though it was only like 8:45pm, so nobody was dancing yet (there were not many people at the bar either – I think it was the timing). We moved downstairs and sat in a booth where we could still hear the music thumping through the floorboards above, but could at least see each other and have a conversation.
The wings and nachos were solid as far as bar food goes, and although our server was completely MIA, we had a good time with friends.
