I went here today after forgetting my lunch . I work in dc and decided I should try hogs on the hill again well ... after about 7 years the food is excatly the same amd so is the guy out front asking fro change . Don't they realize that alloing people to beg In the store will keep me away from this place forever .

The Food is Spectacular, and griiled on an open flame fire grill. authentic flavor. Real superb chicken, I do 't eat pork orcbeef but the people who do? Seem to keep coming her for their fix as I for mines. Their sides are very good too, macaroni & cheese, greens,etc. Also you can't complain about the price, for the amount of serving size too! Awwwwsome!! ; )

I'm so disappointed. I had read good reviews and always pass this place on the way home. I ordered a Wild Platter I think it's called it comes with 3 ribs, 1/4 chicken, pulled pork, minced beef and two sides. My sides were potato salad and mac/cheese. Well first, I should've checked my order because they gave me greens and mac/cheese. I was already home so I figured I should just go with it. The ribs were decent. 2 were more dried out than tender. One was really good. The pulled pork and beef was okay I'll save that for a sandwich. Now, the chicken.....sad, sad, sad. Dried out, it was hard as ever and it's as if they left it in the oven all day or microwaved it several times. It wasn't edible whatsoever. I tried, bit into it but it was sticking to my mouth. It was like eating bread or flour. The greens were tasteless no seasoning just greens and water. Same goes for the mac and cheese. No seasoning and no cheddar or anything. Government cheese more than anything. I thought about taking it back but I had already eaten the ribs so I thought it would be an issue. I'll never go back. Oh the cornbread was good! Greasy but prettt good after you pat it down with some napkins.
