They should keep lids over the pans on the hot, and other than that the food is great

I like this place. Just know the very first time u eat here u might have the runs. I don't know why its like that but I really enjoy the food there.

Food is good. Service is a little slow. But, not a big issue. Because, buying good soul food is worth the wait.

I wasn't impressed but ... It's a functional place and definitely serves the neighborhood. Lots of fatty, unhealthy food choices that turned me off. I know that places like this will always be in poorer neighborhoods where health isn't a concern so I can't knock it down.

I only got the rice which was oversized.

Would I stop by here again? No! Would I recommend it ? Yes! For a lot of reasons Americans may carry smart phones (but they aren't smart) but from what I saw of the patrons many of them are already overweight and I can assume many like my friend who eats here have high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis and various ailments that afflict the poor yet they feel comfortable eating super size portions of greasy foods. It's a choice they can make just like it's a choice I can make not to partake.
