It's not amazing but it's pretty decent Italian food without getting overly fancy and they do things just differently enough to make it unique. Good food, good service.

I been going to Paolo's for years but but the last couple of times encountered hostess with a bad attitude . We asked to sit outside and she offered a table in the beating sun. When i asked if we can sit at a table under the umbrella that needed to be cleaned, she told us we need to wait outside by the door. No "ok we will clean your table right away" then she told us to move away from the door. We did and we went to Martin's tavern across the street. One start because after all these years servicing Georgetown they should know better

At the peak of a busy weekend, my boyfriend and I were seen right away. The food was amazing and our waitress gave excellent wine pairing recommendations. We'll definitely be back!
