While visiting Washington DC, we had a great evening out at The Hamilton. We started with pita/hummus and cheese sampler appetizers and a pitcher of beer. It was pretty dark for pictures so please excuse the quality. For dinner our three choices were Sprout Salad, Apple Salad, and steak and cheese. We each enjoyed our selection. Sweet Leda and the Jerry Garcia Band. We enjoyed Sweet Leda's bluesy music and the terrific guitar playing in JGB. Ron Holloway was an outstanding sax player who joined both bands.

Very large space. Seated quickly during prime dinner time. Varied menu with a seafood slant. The boozy milkshakes are unique, with a number of flavor options. The scallops were excellent, but the portion could have been bigger. Dress was casual to suits.

Stopped in 8pm on a Saturday night and was able to grab a bar table versus waiting 45 minutes for a dinner table. For a Saturday night the service was pretty quick. Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options and kitchen was able to accommodate dish alterations to make others GF. Our table enjoyed the salad with grilled salmon, a traditional burger and fries, and the grilled chicken salad. Cosmopolitan was excellent as well! Very fair price for the quality, quantity, service, and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience here. I arrived in workout clothes not realizing that this is more of a casual to upscale place. The staff treated me wonderfully, my husband and I were seated immediately. The food was fresh although it did take around 40 -45 minutes to get it. I ordered the turkey burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Atlantic Salmon. I would definitely come back to try other dishes. This place is huge by the way and at night you can go to the loft upstairs for drinks and live music.

I first visited The Hamilton in 2015 while on vacation and was highly impressed, so much so that I ate at The Hamilton four times over a five day period. The food is just that good, as are the prices and wait staff. Recently, I traveled to Arlington, VA on business and knew that I would have to make the trek into DC to eat at The Hamilton again. I am very pleased to say that nothing has changed in the two years since my first visit. The food was just as amazing, the prices were still great, and the wait staff was superb. I highly recommend The Hamilton!
