The expense of the retail and apartment living here is through the roof. Decent structure, and plenty of security, but not a place to hang out. In my humble opinion

Great place to shop and grab a quick bite to eat. Young fit vibe with neat public art throughout the courtyards and walking paths

Centrally located down town is two blocks from Metro Subway and Three blocks from Gallery Place Subway Station. They have very high end stores here (Not my thing). Centrally located to public transportation. Macy's, Staples and H&M Store are close by other stores. Plenty of places to choose to eat at. Grand Hyatt Hotel is across the street from City Center DC

Pretty area where the main draw are the fountains and seating at the central plaza. Its businesses make for decent window shopping, though each spot will be well beyond the price range of most. Biggest critique are the occasionally over-zealous security, which are omnipresent and *can* be friendly, but come 11pm they eject everyone out.
