Guven has been cutting my hair since I moved to D.C. in the fall of 2008 and he's the only one in the city who has cut my hair. I'm loyal because he provides an excellent and relatively quick haircut but is always attentive to what I want to do with my hair. He even trims my beard! We've developed a wonderful rapport and he's much more than a stylist to me; he's a dear friend.

The rest of the staff is incredibly helpful and professional. And for Georgetown, the price is pretty decent ($40 for a men's haircut).

I would recommend Guven and his salon to anyone looking for a high-quality haircut in D.C.

Shohreh's eyebrow waxing is the best! Very affordable and does an impeccable job. Ask her for her frequent customer card and you get your 6th visit free.

Quite a good place. It is not very expensive for Georgetown.

I have always been happy with their services and my hair always looks great. I usually see Rose.

I am only giving 3 stars due to the recent hidden price increases. I've always paid $70 for a women's wash, cut, blow dry, which is already pretty steep, but I didn't mind. That is the price stated online, but you must scroll all the way down to the line that reads "Prices are subject to change without notice". Today when I went I was charged $80, so I'm not really sure what one can get for $70 since nothing in the service changed. In fact, they've always used product in my hair and this time used nothing, so if anything, I saved them money. I understand prices go up, and that's fine, but a little transparency is needed, because it feels like you are being lied to and tricked out of an extra $10. There is no reason they can't put the true price online, and the receptionist stated that the online price is the price services "start at", so again, not sure what special treatment I received to get charged the extra $10.

Such a blessing to find the stylists here. They always listen attentively, and you get 5-star treatment every time, no matter how busy it is. I've had a few different stylists including the owner Guven. He is so humble and kind, I didn't realize until afterward that he was actually the owner. Never done color, only cut and style, but if I ever tried coloring I wouldn't trust anyone else except this place.
