Very convenient location. No other facilities like this in this area. Great hours, open until 8pm during the week!

We arrived in the DMV area in April from an AAHA vet search. In the past we've used AAHA accredited vets & always had great health care & our first vet explained the rigorous inspection process to be accredited.
Our pup sees Dr. Robinson & we really love his style of care.
Since it is great care & they can do any & all procedures, it may cost more. Also, they are not a VCA vet (Corporation owned).

Have tried giving Caring Hands multiple chances over several years and I've always just been disappointed. The biggest issue I've seen with this place is that it just seems like there are too many people working there without enough communication between their staff. Our dog has health issues that require us to order her medicine through 1800petmeds and Caring Hands made this process much more difficult than it should be, or than it was with any other vet. If there's an issue with an order I place, Caring Hands should call me rather than just cancelling the order, never contacting me, and then realizing that they were in the wrong after all and the order should have been approved. If they struggle with something as easy as ordering through an online pet pharmacy, it makes me nervous about other things they're not communicating about in the office. We have moved to a new vet in the area and couldn't be happier!

Their staff is incredibly kind, even in the hardest moments. They go to great length to explain options, and don't push for the most expensive, comprehensive care when less is appropriate. This is the only DC Metro vet I have been to several times without feeling like I was dealing with a car sales person.

I have only visited once for a wellness check-up for my cat. Dr. Robinson, his assistant AND the front-desk staff were all fantastic. I highly recommend Caring Hands at this location.
