This used to be our favorite romantic special occasion restaurant. They had a huge sumptuous menu I had barely had the chance to explore for the few years of Valentine's Days and anniversaries we'd been able to spend there before the changeover to their new identity.

Now they're the Rail Station & Ale House. Their decor is still the same beautiful stonework and big copper fireplace, but the heart (and menu) seems to have made the shift to a sports bar. It's all appetizers, burgers, pizza and tapas. It's still a fun place, if that's the kind of thing you're looking for--but it was something really dear to our hearts and I'm sad to see it transform into a different kind of establishment.

Not impressed, really expensive for applebees, red robin type food. Really cool place, i guess that's what you are paying for.

I Love everything about the applewood grill The food is amazing and the service was right on time it was a little spending when you have a family of 9 but any less then that your ok. but i heard they had rats the whole time i was there i never heard saw anything about rat or any water but there food was well cook and the people there where amazing funny and happy i love how they are so kind with the other people its a great place to be trust me i love food and i think this is the place to be ^.

So much potential. The food is always lukewarm and takes forever. Service is just awful. Sorry

This place is deplorable!!! I have known several employees and ex employees of this establishment and know first hand of The Applewood's rat infestation which is so bad that after hours you can hear the rats running around the dining area. Also the unsanitary conditions, such as the basement full of mold due to flooding every time it rains. The employees are still expected to work despite the 3 inches of water they have to stand in. The refridgeration methods are shoddy if used at all. I have heard of the monthly employee meetings, that mainly consists of the owner telling the employees how lazy and worthless they are even though they are usually understaffed, which explains the ridiculous wait time for the outrageously overpriced food. I also know that the owner has gone behind the back of the city inspector's to work on the building without permits. The wood used in the cooking oven is soaked in insecticides and often contains nylon rope which is not removed before use. The owners are more interested in putting money in their pockets than treating their customers or employees with consideration. If you work there, keep your time cards because they will rob you blind.
