Been with farmers for 20 years. My old agent retired and Kathy has helped me on my auto and now my house. Takes the time to sit down and give me options. Buy far the best in town.

Do not do business with this new woman who took over the agency. Our family has done business with Farmers Insurance through Robert Fellers for decades now. My grandparents, parents and now I have had insurance with that same agent for a very long time. Recently Mr. Fellers retired and all his clients were passed on to this woman who I really don't even care to learn her name the way she has treated us. It has not been a smooth transition to say the least. In February we sold one of our vehicles and called for what should have been an easy task of cancelling the insurance on the truck. She claimed we needed all sorts of documentation to end the policy on that vehicle. That left a sour taste in my mouth so I suggested my parents go ahead and switch insurance. We had three vehicles, only one of them was with a different agency. The other insurance agency had no issues just cancelling a policy so we could swap to another company. This woman again made us go through a whole run around on the car and is still insisting on documentation about the sale of the truck. We finally got our house and car on a new policy with a competing insurance company. It is now 3 months later and the woman will not let us stop the insurance on this truck that we no longer own. This is getting to the point where it is feeling like fraud. I am not recommending you go to another insurance company... just that you stay away from the agent that does business at 8020 E Central ave. You might end up in the same position we are currently. I am going to find a way to report this agent to the company and whoever licenses agents in the state of Kansas this week if she still refuses to end the policy. This whole mess is ridiculous. Bob Fellers was one of the nicest people we have ever done business with and that is why we were willing to spend a thousand more a year to keep him as our agent. If only he had taught this woman a thing or two before he retired, this might never have happened.
