Very good place to locally eat in Wichita! Friend worked there and enjoyed it a lot as well! Well known local restaurant.

The new place is a lot larger than the old place. There are 30 plus tables here. It is open and airy with ceiling fans. The decor is bright yet earthy and not garish. The food is okay. The service felt chilly and indifferent. That was far from the warm and inviting service that I received the first time here. That is what I remember and that's why I went out of my way to come back. This visit gives me no reason to come back.
Beware of the waitress who chews gum while working with her mouth open.

Ordered the eggs Benedict and half a biscuit & gravy. It was all delicious. Wait staff was friendly and FAST. Probably the best hollandaise sauce I've had.
The cinnamon roll was OK - not too sweet.
I will be back to try the pie as that seems to be one of their staples.

From out of town and found this diner online. Was excited to see the location and the appearance. Very nice. Once seated our waiter was prompt in taking the drink order. But then thing went downhill from there. I ordered three separate items from the breakfast menu. Two of the three were cold when it finally arrived. I sent one back to be warmed up and it never returned. Wait staff apologized and blamed it on other employees. Then opted to not take it off the bill. Instead explained that coffee was the same price??? And said he wouldn't charge for the coffee. (Must have expensive coffee). Overall wasn't a pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning.
