I am an alumni of Friends and what the previous poster stated was accurate. Even though I relished my time here, looking back, the degree was not worth the money. There are other places in Wichita to get a degree and not be in a mountain of debt. I assure you that the quality is also about the same. I wish more young people realized that they will eventually have to pay it back unless they were lucky enough to get scholarships or parents that paid.

dissatisfied with my experience here at Friend's University. Save your thousands of dollars, and go to your local community or state college; or any other college. The sports teams here are a joke, employees and professors are a mediocre joke, and they don't give the quality help that you'd like them to. For the cost of going to Friend's, I would have had a better time going to a Community College. The dean, Bill Allen, is extremely rude when you try to confront him about issues; whether they're personal, academic, or anything. For example, I came to him with my problems about scheduling and dropping classes, and he was extremely rude to me and even raised his voice with no regard for anybody. Complete joke of a school. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCAM OF A SCHOOL

It's a real world education inside and out. You even get to experience real world frustration from the way the university treats you like a customer or even employee, but not as a student. If you're going to attend, be ready to disagree with the politics and policies of the school like no other educational institution. If you survive, you'll have a good, overpriced education.

The music productions here are top notch. Do yourself a favor and snag a ticket to the Symphony of Spring or the Candlelight concerts, or anything else that strikes your fancy.
