Classic tunes and stiff drinks. The staff is a little salty, but the atmosphere is comfortable and you are guaranteed to stumble home, not walk.

I am the the phoenix and from the ashes I have been reborn.
I visited the lounge on a Tuesday some months ago and I must say that it was an awakening. I had just finished a meeting where my stones had been handed to me. My idea for a Duran Duran theme restaurant, "Hungry Like The Wolf", had been thoroughly rejected and all of my investors backed out. Well I was crestfallen to say the least. Not only did I have no backers but I had spent about $120,000 on t-shirts and fettuccine alfredo for a restaurant that would never get the chance to exist. I plopped down in a chair with my heavy heart and asked the server for a vodka cranberry. He promptly brought me the drink and proceeded to tell me that he could see sadness in my eyes. I told him my story and he looked at me and said "It is only when things are completely dark that we can truly see the light." He smiled at me and walked away. I sat there in silence and let the words sink in. I cried that night for the first time in years. It was at this point that someone else came outside. They had been awoken by my crying. They yelled "This is a private residence, get the hell out of here." So I left, never to return.
