The $5 shrimp I ordered at Popeyes was great! Each tender white shrimp was carefully cleaned and deveined. The breading was light and crispy, not greasy. The frymaster at Popeyes was vigilant! The shrimp was tender with just the right chewyness to delight. There was just enough shell on each of these pieces of goodness to grab on to with my teeth and wolf down. But don't eat 'em too fast! Take time to dip them into the 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cajun cocktail sauce. (The tangy red distinctive Tabasco° sauce snap is cushioned with just enough sweetness.) Much better than any pirate 🀄 could fry up.
Too do better for the 💱 you'll have to get a net and head for the nearest bayou. KumuJohn 🐫

Speed of service has greatly improved. Food has always been very good. (Never use old grease, homemade tasting sides).

You're better off driving to the West street location. The service here is inexcusable. I've tried it several times, and every time I'm met with rude, unprofessional staff, wrong orders, 15 minute wait for fries, and bad attitude when asking for dipping sauce. Skip this one.

I asked for 8 piece dinner, side order potatoes with gravy. I had to reorder because they said. I would have to wait 15 min. Then I asked was it because I wanted 2 spicy pieces and the rest regular chicken she said yes. So I said that's ok just give me the regular. When I got to the window she told me 18.00 when she reached me my change she dropped it. Once I got home I realized it was all spicy I only wanted 2 pieces
No napkins ,no honey plus wrong order. So sad.
