Yesterday was my first ever visit to the Carolina Ale House (off of a recommendation from a friend) for my son's 12th birthday. We decided that we would get a couple of appetizers (bacon cheese fries, frickles, and the pork skins) and some wings. The waiter Skyler(sp?) was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating while assisting us with making our selections and offering his own. The manager Owen also stopped by our table to see how we were doing this evening and check to see that we were pleased with the appetizer selections that were delivered to our table, he also went as far as advising of a great dipping sauce for one of the appetizers (different than what is provided) and went and got it himself. When finished with our dinner they offered desert for my birthday boy and little sister, they brought my son a fresh out of the oven warm brownie with ice cream and chocolate drizzle that was to die for! For a first visit I am extremely pleased and feel that it was some of the best service I have received locally for quite a while, and I would certainly recommend Carolina Ale House and it's wonderful management and staff to everyone, I'll certainly be back.

Came to watch the Redskins. Great atmosphere and the fish tacos are great. Come on down the place is great can hear well and watch all the games

The last 2 times I have been there the crispy shrimp platter has sucked,we moved back to Wilmington 2 years ago. We went to all our favorite restaurants. Ale House Had the best shrimp of all of them,but now I do not know what has happened, new staff,new cooks, new manager? Then waiter gave me the bill,charged me for it,! Manager called ,she did take care of it ,kudos to her

Great time at the Wilmington Carolina Ale House. Lauren was a wonderful waitress along with the Manager Owen. The Slade Family enjoyed our trip. The Service and food was above expectations. Many more visits in the family frendly atmosphere. ALE YEAH!!!!
