My wife and I were married at TUMC in 1997. She was born and raised in Trinity, but I had been born in Rhode Island and raised an Episcopalian in New York. We spent nearly a year visiting other congregations in Wilmington, but decided to come back to Trinity because the church family was part of her and I was accepted into it wholeheartedly and without reservation. That welcoming nature of the church is still there for all visitors and members. We raised our daughters here and now our grandchildren are in the nursery. This is a fun and safe place for children and a learning place where all points of view can be discussed. Now that we're back from my 10 year recall to active duty, we are truly seeing how much the mission or the church and actions of its members try to follow Christ's example from local neighborhoods to international outreach. I hope that you will come and visit Trinity to experience this loving and welcoming environment. With any luck I'll be seeing you in church. God Bless!!
