My experience until today has been wonderful. The dentist is ok (no longer Kelly) but today I was greeted by an assistant who called my children's names (3 yr old and 5yr old) and I stood to take them back as I have always done. Her hand was at the top of the door and her plactic grin was apparent, the children walked by and as I was in an attempt to, she dropped her arm and said quite nastily,"no, parents can't come back here". I said, "this parent does". She said pointing to another door, "then you go that way" and the door closed. I was appauled!! I walked through the other door and made a right to the desk and asked the woman at the desk, if it was going to be a problem with me going to the back, she looked at me as if she didn't want to get involved. As I am speaking to her, this 'assisant' walks my children behind the front desk and interupts me while im speaking saying, "your going into this room!". So along with my children we step into a room and wait with NO direction! Finally the dentist that has taken over for Dr Kelly comes in. He starts talking about my daughters teeth and the last visit, which was all the wrong information(as he was speaking about a 2 year old visit) but thats another story. I interupt him and tell him how annoyed and upset I was about his staff member and the way she treated me. He listened, never said a word in response to it and continued talking incorrectly about my daughters teeth. By the time I left, it was apparent that everyone new that I was upset about this asssitants approach and it was extremely uncomfortable. After going here 3 years I will never set foot back in this place!!
In summation, get some women at the front desk with a personailty and a heart. 2 replace that assistant who was cleary obnoxious and disrespectuful. 3 when a parent is expressing how they feel about something troublesome that has just occured in your office, SAY SOMETHING!!!!! 4 If they dont want parents in back, fine, request it with tact!!

Moved here recently and randomly picked Dr. Kelly. What a great guy! Instantly liked him. When he first met my kids, he sat on the floor and spoke to them (not me). Office is fun. Kids love the fish tank and the lizard. My children actually look forward to going to the dentist!!!
