Terrible service overall. The person I was seeing suddenly "no longer works here." She probably quit. Then I see a new doc who unknown to me is actually on a computer screen that has a terrible connection so that I can hardly make out what she is saying. I was never even told it was teleconference care. If so, I would not have done that, very impersonal and I am used to a face to face with my doc who disappeared. They didn't even bother to tell me my doctor was no longer there. It was a surprise probably so that they could not have their revenue interrupted.

Then to top it off, I am told my prescription will be called in. I call the next day to be told she hasn't called it in yet and that the receptionist has emailed the doctor about it. The receptionist tells me that she can't call the doc because she wont take her calls. This is now four days later and I still don't have my meds. It is so ridiculous that I am four days past when my meds should have been called in. This is down right unprofessional and dangerous that a psychiatric patient cannot get the meds they need to stay stable. It is malpractice for sure. Terrible really.

And forget about leaving a phone message, they will never call you back and will rarely actually answer the phone when you call. I really don't know how they stay in business. Do not go here whatever you do. Psychiatric care is not something to mess with. You need caring individuals who are attentive to their patients and this is NOT the place. I would give them a zero star rating if possible. Make sure you find a place with good reviews. I wish I had read the reviews on this place before making the mistake of trusting the with my mental health.

I was only there for the Therapy area of the facility. So what I can say is that Rabecca is my therapist & she is wonderful. She is nice, compassionate,
& caring. The office staff was always friendly and helpful to me.

They started out as a seemingly great place to receive addiction care. However over time they have turned into a money making machine, hearding people through like cattle. It takes hours and hours to be seen. (Processed) The receptionist is rude at best...unless you are a cute guy she wants to flirt with. She has way too much control and can at a whim decide who can run a tab and who can't. Who can get a full script and who can't. Patients never know what more will be required next month to get thier medicine. More groups? More fees? A new assessment that we have to pay for out of pocket? The Dr himself is an incredible caring genuine man...his staff is ruining his business. Was a real loss to lose Jim, but the others are running the business into the ground. I hope he cleans house and starts over. I know he can't do it alone...but he needs to think quality instead of quantity. You can easily sit in the waiting room and make connections. Buy and sell your meds. It's getting to be pretty shady there. I hope he cleans house. He could have a great business and really help people with a little less greed. And definitely new staff. I'd say 5 stars in the beginning. Unfortunately 1 now. But I do think and hope it can be saved.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Granted My family memeber was there for psychiatric help, but also had an addiction problem. I had no idea where to begin so I turned to this place for help. I was told at the next apt my family member was going to be drug tested. I followed up that evening, and they "forgot" because they were to busy. Then I was told they would immediately call her to come in for the drug test, well they never did. Being told they were to busy to test or call them in isn't a good enough excuse in my book. I told them what drugs were being taken together, and seems to me they could of cared less. I ended up getting the help and resources I needed from the sheriff department. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone and if you need any kind of help find some where else to go

I am giving three stars because I'm sure they do great with people who go there for addiction. My experience alone would only be one star. I say this because I was not going there for the addiction side. When scheduling my first appointment the woman on the phone asked me if I was there for the "psychiatric side" or the "addiction side". This led me to believe they were two different entities. Instead, I arrive there and fill out the paper work. Then I'm told to pee in a cup for a drug test. I told her that I was not there for an addiction. She said that to be seen at all I would have to do it and that it was standard procedure. This is the first time I've ever had to take a drug test to be seen by a psychiatrist. I did it in a not so clean bathroom and was told to put the cup on the floor behind the toilet. I talked to the psychiatrist. He asked me questions but when I was answering them in detail he cut me off and went to the next one. It was obvious that he just wanted to write me a prescription and send me on my way. He even seemed annoyed by me when all I was doing was answering what he asked. When I checked my online banking to look at my copay, the statement said "Wilmington addiction care". I haven't filled the prescription he wrote me and I will be canceling my next appointment on Monday. I will also be nicely telling my primary doctor that I am not happy that their reference department sent me there. I thought going to a specialist would help me. I would have been better just being written a prescription with my local primary doctor. At least they wouldn't have treated me like an addict.
