The food was pretty tasty and there was a large variety of different foods available. The staff is friendly. The dessert was ok, but some of the items, such as the carrot cake, was a bit stale. Overall, I would eat here again.

Don't normally bad mouth people or business on here but just wanted to warn People that the Golden Corral Wilmington nc has some mighty strange ways to act towards people. For example ( I was standing in line for food I finally get to the grill and ask for a steak the African American man looks right at me and says I don't have any. I said ok thanks and took two steps the African American guy right behind me asked for a steak rare just has I did and the guy at the grill gives him a steak.) Now I know cook times very for steak to be rare or well done etc but maybe 20 seconds I mean come on. Just wanted to vent and say that my 50$ don't matter much from my family of 3 and 1/2 but I can promise that they will never get it again.

This is the worst Golden Coral I've ever been to. The food is sub par at best. Nothing had any flavor. The kids didn't even want their deserts after one bite. The drinks were watered down. Honestly I'd give one star if I could.
The facility is old and dirty. For the price you're better off going to a local grocery store and picking up a chicken and some sides.
However the chef working with the meats is doing phenomenal with what he's been given to work with. Everything in his section was tender and cooked to perfection.
