Stayed at Hilton for work so had dinner at Ruth Chris. I was dining alone but my server Veda made me feel just as important as a large party. The service was perfect. I ordered the ribeye rare and Veda noticed it was actually overdone, I was not going to say anything. She notified the manager and had him take it off the tab since I said I didn't need a new steak. Very professional and the manager came by to apologize, even though I wasn't really upset I felt they really cared about my experience. Will return for the excellent customer service and to give that steak another go! Thank you Ruth Chris Wilmington

When my wife asked me where to go on my Birthday I immediately said Ruth's Chris! We arrived at 8pm on Oct 9th. The good points of the trip, the steak was cooked to perfections and the shrimp on top was delicious too. My wife liked her cocktail and I liked my first. Now for what should not happen at a Ruth's Chris, ever! Wine glass was shattered when we sat down at our table, server didn't notice this. No candle on the table. Second Mojito was made complete different than the first one I ordered and made completely wrong. Sashimi appetizer was delivered without wasabi, however we specifically asked about it being served with wasabi. Had to wait 5 minutes for wasabi as our food sat on the table. Ordered bananas foster, omg, so delicious this dessert is! But this one was not perfect. Soupy and very runny. And I found a quarter inch by half inch piece of plastic in my mouth while eating it. Hard plastic. We also heard no less than three times while there dishes and glasses breaking on the floor behind our booth, where the kitchen and bar is. This visit was ridiculous and although our server was very nice and kind I feel everyone here dropped the ball in some way to make this more like a visit to a tgi fridays and not the excellent visit it should have been. A Ruth's Chris visit.

Total disappointment. The hostess and manager were completely unprofessional. I expect more from a Ruth Chris. The bar area tables are first come, first serve. We waited patiently for a table to open and when one did we made are way to the table only to be stopped by a rude hostess that informed us that the table was reserved. I told her that these tables are not supposed to be reserved and she snapped at me and told me she was getting the manager. The manager never apologized to me, never even took the time to discuss the situation. The waiters saved the night by promising us the next table and telling us they would get our first round of drinks. Great wait staff, the manager and hostess should be replaced, and can be easily.

Best dining experience I have had in a VERY long time. Dacia was my server and she was very attentive, patient, and extremely friendly and professional. It was my first time visiting and we went out to celebrate my mothers 45th birthday. Every part of our meal was delectable. I went with the classics 4 course meal. The carrot ginger soup was smooth, warm and delicious. Next I had a spicy salmon cooked to perfection topped with sweet but still spicy jalapeños and a side of buttery mash potatoes. For desert I was given a crisp apple almost tart-like dessert topped with the perfect serving of vanilla ice cream. I believe it was dusted with cinnamon but not completely sure. Still a fantastic way to end the meal. The ambience can't be beat, nice water view of the cape fear river and of the pool area. Also quiet but not to much, would be a great place for a romantic dinner maybe. The manager Erick also came by to see how everything was going. The food was so good all I could do was shake my head fantastic. I WILL be returning here soon. Great place.

Love love love Ruth Chris. Buy after this visit I will not be returning to this location! Server was wonderful. I experience a eyelash in my stuffed chicken breast, so the server gave me a upgrade on desert for free but I felt that was not enough being that I'm spending $40 + in here on a meal. So I spoke to the manager and he was very nice about the situation and my entire meal was complimentary and they even replaced my chicken to go. So I get home and me and my boyfriend are eating it and he notices a brown silky piece of HAIR! Ewh like what in the world. I just had a eyelash in my chicken now a hair! Mind you my hair Is black and is in long braids. We will not be eating at this location anymore!
