Excellent service excellent atmosphere. Friendly staff. The owner is first generation Irish and uses fresh beef from his own farm.

Best place for a Black and Tan after 73 mile bicycle ride for Lee Crouch's birthday! All good with friendly Irish service and a world class bar.

This is a wonderful unpretentious place to get a great pour on a Guinness. My friend always orders the shepherds pie and fried mushrooms. I had the mussels, about 16 of them with bread and asked for a large plate of fries. The fries are made from scratch and I was given a generous amount. The waitress was sweet and took good care of us. It was too warm to sit outside but looked nice and live entertainment was getting ready to begin around 9 pm. Seat yourself tables and a separated bar area. Bathroom was for one, large and clean.
Im sure Ill go back again.

The Harp is one of my very favorite places in Wilmington! I've been a regular for years and know all of the wonderful people who make this place awesome. It is family owned and I usually get to see at least one of these great people when I'm there. I highly recommend the food, drinks and fun!!
The buffet on Sundays shouldn't be missed! Ms. Betsy's handmade sweets are the icing on the cake.

As far as Irish Pubs go, this one is legit. It's Irish owned and even has some quirkiness that you find in similar establishments in larger metros or even abroad. The fare is simple and filling. The ingredients are top notch-best quality. When crowded, the wait time can be a little longer, but usually there is some entertainment to keep you occupied. Overall, this is a fine establishment and a fun place to eat and drink. I find myself here for breakfast, lunch, or after-work drinks often.Weekend buffet breakfast is always a fun time too. It's also the first bar to open each day in Wilmington and shows international Rugby and Soccer matches which are sometimes played live at odd hours in the US., so it's good to have a place that offers an Irish Breakfast and a Guinness Pint at 6am... Cheers!
