Pink tax alert!! I cannot find a single stylist who can cut short hair. They lost Kristie, who I loved, to a move. My last hair cut was a $40 "great clips" cut, which was very disappointing.

Do not EVER go here. Ever... Hated it would be an understatement.
Unprofessional owner. Unprofessional service. I asked for a service and got anything BUT what I had asked for. If you want a good experience, steer clear from here.
I asked for an ombre with my natural dark hair to blonde on New Year's Eve. Usually hair stylists ask for if you want it trimmed with color. Nope. Not here. So I mentioned it. I was here for about 2 hours...
There was an open schedule. I was the ONLY customer there. If the receptionist thought it was going to take longer than 2 hours, she should've asked me to come in earlier... It's their job and no one was there.
I had showed the stylist a LOT of pictures of what inner I wanted so she could have a more than definite idea of what I wanted.
Long story short, I sat there just to have my hair have a "toner" put on my hair which my hair color didn't change, she did NOT style it like I asked either, and she stopped in the middle of doing my hair at 7pm because they were technically closed. That is unheard of. My regular stylist and a TON of other stylists I know have no idea why she did that or why she was not capable of doing my ombre. So I had frizzy hair(I have pics of what I asked for, before she did my hair, and the disaster she had destroyed my hair with), no ombre and no ends trimmed because of this unprofessional salon and stylist, and even the receptionist thus far. I was clearly unhappy since not only did I not get the service I asked for, but it wasn't completed and on NYE.
The receptionist said I could either not pay since I was unhappy with it and she would just log it, or I could come back and have it discounted. So I told her no... This is unjustly and not what I asked for and unprofessional to just quit on a customer's hair because of it being 7pm.
I got a letter, with no call from the owner saying about 2 weeks later that I should come in and pay or she is taking legal action. More unprofessional actions from a business.
So I called her up after I explained to her husband, which I know of the circumstances and even sent him the pictures. He sent them to her and she said she saw and regardless I should come pay because I still received a "service," whether it was right or what I had asked for or not... That alone is disgusting hearing from a business owner who should be logical and professional. She wouldn't let me talk. She wouldn't let me explain the situation besides what she said she was told from her employees. So to pay $130 for something I didn't even ask for is just insane.
I received this worse possible customer service from multiple parts of this business and cannot justify ever stepping foot in that slum hole in the wall again. I paid and for it to be fixed at Tanglez salon which is 100xs better. If you have to pick somewhere and you can't find an open availability anywhere else, PLEASE avoid this place. I promise you will not regret it. Definitely save a lot of time and prevent overpaying and grief in the long run.

I've been going to Kristie for a long time now and she never seems to disappoint. Great environment and I always leave happy.

Awful experience, worst experience in 16 years of having my hair done. I went to Lorissa, the owner, based on the reviews online - I will never do that again. I went in for highlights and the first time the toner didn't last the day so I went back in and she retoned me and put me under the dryer for a few minutes. It came out okay, it was a little brassy but she said it would fade. It did fade, and the color it faded too was really nice. I went back to retouch my highlights and the toner did not perform uniformly from the root to the end of my hair so I went back. She retoned my hair which made my hair 2-3 shades darker than my natural color, I couldn't see the highlights at all. She apparently used a darker color than she did the first time because she thought it would work better. I called her to come back a second time, she had her assistant tell me to put Dawn in my hair! Of course I didn't do that. I went back a second time and she "lightened" my hair as much as she could. Now the toned color is still not distributed evenly throughout my hair, it's "splotchy" and looks awful. The natural color of my hair is still atleast 2 shades darker than it was. Lorissa said she will try to contact Aveda and explain to them what happened and ask their advice. She will not offer me a refund because she said it was most likely due to oxidation of the color she used on me, she thinks the color was bad, and that is her policy. Really....so you put bad color on my hair and you will not give me a refund?! Overpriced and overrated is all I can say. I also sent two of my girlfriends to her and they walked out with visible roots (they are blonds) Worst $300 I have ever spent, I have had some not so good experiences but this is the first time I wanted a refund. Bad business.

I'm really impressed with this place!
I have been four times now which is a record for me. I have never consistently gone to one place/person until now. If you get a chance to go in make sure you see Daniel. I am extremely picky about getting my haircut and he does and awesome job. The guy knows hair and really takes the time to do it right, which is something I really appreciate.
The staff there is very friendly. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that works the front desk. She's great.....and she's the one that can get you that glass of wine or yeungling, make sure you take advantage of that haha. I always get a courtesy call the day before to remind me of my appointment which is good cause I will most certainly forget if not.
Overall, the place is clean, welcoming, and professional. It is definitely my place now
