As far as I'm concerned, this is the best food, and group of people in any restaurant in Worcester County. Tonight I had steak & salmon, and the cripsy goat cheese. It was all amazing. The crispy goat cheese was crispy, but still soft and smooth on the inside, with delicious cranberries on top. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And, as usual, the steak was absolutely, hands down, bar none, that best F-ing steak in the state. Was there a wait? Of course! When you're having gourmet food made fresh, with every seat in the house filled, and a line at the door...that's to be expected. And it was damn well worth it.

We wanted so much to like this place, and the food was mostly very good. The flavors were outstanding. But the wait was unacceptable. We had 7:00 pm reservations. We were informed that the kitchen was backed up, but we got our appetizers and our meals at the same time around 8:30 pm.

Overall this place was great. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. The service was mediocre in the sense that it was not very busy and our server was slow and continously making errors. She didnt ring in half of our order and then blamed us for the miscommunication, and never brought anything out to us herself. I would definitely go again, but would rather have someone else serving us.

Really disappointing. I had so looked forward to experience some great deserts and was completely let down. I had the chocolate cake and not only was it the size of a tiny square it had zero flavor besides the sugar cube size of a peanutbutter frosting. There is no doubt I can get a large much more flavorful desert at any normal chain for the $12 I spent on this. Really a let down and sadly will not be back :(

Don't get me wrong, Sweet has some great dishes, from dessert to brunch. However, my biggest complaint is them not updating their website. I have been to Sweet twice in the past two months, both with one thing in mind: their milk and cookies. Their warm chocolate chip cookies with local coffee milk is the absolute best, however, both times I went they have not offered it *despite* their online menu stating that they did. One time we went around Christmas time and were informed they had changed it to eggnog and sugar cookies (despite not changing it on their website..it was still the original milk and cookies) and the other time, just a few weeks ago, we were told it was not being offered because they wanted to "try new things" and "have people try new things." Now, I understand that reasoning, but 1. if you have things on your menu that people really love, that are your "classics", then why not keep them? 2. looking on their online menu is a huge resource for people and a reason why they either choose to go somewhere or not. I was very disappointed that not once but twice their online menu was not updated and I went in expecting one thing to be told they didn't have it.
