They are always helpful, anytime I call to get something done with one of my policies they take care of it right away.

Terri and her staff are always helpful with what ever questions come up, and honest as to what and what not is covered. What is really important is how an agent will work for you, we have 3 vehicles and our home with them and feel we have made the right choice and never over sold on what we should carry.

Terri has carried our insurance (under my former married name McCay) for well over 10 years. What I love about the office (not about Allstate) is that they are super-responsive and they pick up the phone. It is very nice to have a local agent. They have covered me to drive a rental car, in an instant. I read the other lady's review here and I believe it is probably quite true, but I would guess that Rosie either didn't remember the call, or lied to Terri to cover herself. Terri is a person who acts in good faith, and I've seen her do so, so it is unlikely that she lied to the agent. She would have believed Rosie. As I recall, Rosie gave me mis-information one time, when she was new. I would say that if I was the manager of an office and this happened, and I had a doubt about my employee telling the truth, I would have had my company pick it up. Especially if they had other complaints. In general, I am not happy with Allstate. Their rates are higher, and their "Accident forgiveness" was a contrived thing that does not really happen. It was actually Terri's office who explained it to me that it doesn't work like they say. Allstate will pay quickly, even small claims, but boost your rates instantly to cover. I don't like Allstate.

Terri was my insurance agent from Summer 2012 until Summer 2016. I was the perfect low maintenance customer. I set up my account with her (full coverage car insurance) and had my bill auto debited out of my account every month. Never missed a bill. Never changed my plan. Easy peasy.
I was in a bad car accident in January 2015, which caused over $9k in damages to my car alone. The other party admitted fault and Allstate said they’d take care of everything for me. A couple months later I received a check in the mail. I assumed it was because of the accident and the fact that the mechanic didn’t fix everything on my car, but I didn’t know what it was for so I called Terri’s office and spoke with Rosie. I told her I didn’t know what the check was for and asked if I could cash it. She said she looked it up in the system, it wasn’t a mistake, and I could cash it.
Now a year and five months after the accident, a year and three months after the check was issued, and almost 8 months after talking to Rosie and depositing the check into my account Allstate contacted me to inform me that the check was issued to me in error and that I had to pay it all back. As you can imagine, I didn’t have the cash to just pay it back all at once and was confused as to how it could be an error when Allstate told me I could cash it.
I contacted Terri’s office to ask what was going on and why Allstate was saying I had to pay the money back. I first asked to speak to Rosie as she had been the one to tell me I could cash the check. When Rosie got on the phone and realized who I was she immediately transferred me to the other lady in the office in the middle of me talking. The other lady wouldn’t let me talk to Rosie and was very rude. All she had to say was you have to pay us back or we’ll send you to collections. I then called and talked to Terri, who assured me that she would contact the claims adjuster to find out what was going on, to my dismay she told the claims adjuster that no one in her office told me I could cash the check. Her and her office literally lied to cover their end. I don’t know why – I’m assuming so their office wouldn’t get in trouble with Allstate or have to eat the cost. Luckily I had phone records to show the date and time I contacted Terri’s office and bank receipts showing I cashed the check the next day. Allstate’s claims adjuster believed me.
Moral of the story is do not pay Terri Couette to be your agent. Spend your money elsewhere.
