This doctor is a hoax! He treats prisoners at Sing Sing Correctional Facility and is discourteous and unsanitary. He's only concerned with the $$$. He uses dirty supplies after discarded in the trash for patients i.e. used alcohol pads, used gauze (uses unsoiled sections of soiled pads), and is careless. His defense "they don't give me sufficient supplies."

He has botched up several patients' scrotums and holds no accountability because he's a prison doctor and they are convicts! I say "why work with prisoners if you're not going to honor your Doctor's oath to treat ALL patients with dignity and care!" Not all prisoners are guilty or evil. Many are locked up for non-violent crimes and/or sentenced incorrectly, and some are wrongly convicted. They deserve good medical care too!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 His knock name is "The Butcher!" He rushes through every patient, hostile when asked questions re proposed surgery! Disgraceful!!! Outrageous!

Doctor was dishonest and was not very helpful. I called to set up an appointment with Dr. Janis who had previously performed my vasectomy surgery. I spoke to him on the phone to make sure he accepts my insurance and to tell him that I wanted to find out about a vasectomy reversal. He told me to schedule an appointment and come and see him. I went to the appointment and when I got into his office to speak with him, he told me he does not do vasectomy reversals and that he would refer me to someone else. He spent all of 5 minutes with me. Later on I get a bill from his billing office for $250 dollars saying that my visit was a non covered service. I repeatedly tried to speak to his office staff and him in regards to the bill which never was taken care of. He basically billed me $250 tell me he didn't do what I went to him for. I think this was very unethical and unfair of him, especially for a patient he had already treated 5 years prior. I definitely would not recommend this crook
