Montefiore EMERGENCY ROOM SUCKED. On November 14th 2017 my Partner had Couple Health Problems. The E.R. Nurses were Rude n Nasty to my Partner. My Partner told me What Happened to him. I was Angry the way the Nurses Don't Care about the Patients. My Partner asked for Water & The Black Nurse said The Emergency Room Don't Have Water for Your Kinds (RACIST). My Partner was Going to be Amid. in the Hospital. But my Partner want to go Home. My Partner Started taking Pictures on The Emergency Room Because Rude & Nasty NURSES.

This has to be the worst hospital in the entire city. The nurses in the ER are rude and don't care about your well being. The ER is filthy. People stacked on top of each other. Definitely a fire hazard.The staff spends more time behind the desk socializing. The Doctors are not much better. Was transferred to Foreman 6B and I didn't think it could get any worse but it did. The PA's are just rude. This one male nurse took 2 hours to bring me a Tylenol. I heard him out by the nurses desk being the social butterfly. I had a heart procedure scheduled but I cancelled do to the lack of proffesionalism and disorganization. If you look at the reviews you can see the decline of Montefiore Medical Center. Several years reflect positive reviews but then in the last year many negative reviews. Montefiore will not let you call your doctor's office directly. You must go through their call center and the call center contacts the doctor's office for you. Montefiore has become nothing but big business. A call center. I'm not trying to get in touch with the Maytag repairman.

I was in the ER for 12 hours....with a broken foot, couldn't walk, and did not eat a single thing. I asked multiple nurses if there was anything I could have and was told by some since they're not my nurse, they couldn't provide me with anything. I told another nurse EXACTLY where my nurse was (on the other side of a curtain) and she said "okay, I'll tell her" then walked right in the opposite direction, she never came back to check on me, or do anything. I've never felt so blatantly disrespected. How is it that someone tells you they've been around for half the day, and has not had anything to eat or drink but a tiny cup of water, and you no effort to help find my nurse for me when I'm hungry, thirty and cannot do for myself?

Their ER department is horrible. I went to the ER with my mom via ambulance, we got there a lil before 1pm. Fast forward 1:58 in the morning she still wasn't put in a room but her bed was ready at 7:30 pm. Anytime you asked someone a question they automatically said I'm not her nurse, without even hearing what the question was. The doctor disappeared for hours and the nurses calling him. This was the absolute worst ER I've ever encountered. And I NEVER want to come back again. I wish I had the option to give it negative stars
