Skin Station, Yonkers

I tried this spa after finding their spa week specials on line. I booked my appointment online as well but never received any contact from the company itself.
On the day of my appointment I arrived on time to find that another customer was scheduled for the same person and time that I was. I waited while they exchanged looks of confusion and tried to tell the other insisting customer that she was scheduled for another day.
Once I was finally seen the massage itself wasn't the best that I ever experienced-it was just ok in my opinion. After the initial confusion with
My appointment I am not sure that it was actually seen by the masseuse that I originally had an appointment with (Reico). But the masseuse I had was quite talkative during my massage which I didn't really appreciate. She was very friendly but personally I don't want to hear about the other services that you can offer me during a service thats supposed to be relaxing.
After my service was completed I also didn't appreciate being told what percentage my tip should be. As I handed the masseuse my tip she ignored it and showed a chart of their preferred tipping amounts. How tacky. This alone would discourage me from returning in the future.

I got scammed. I am a fairly regular customer here. I've gotten facials and loved their eyebrow waxing services. I also have recommended a number of people. However, I had a very bad experience when I realized that I had a Groupon I never used (given as a gift). I called to redeem the $49 value that is clearly printed in caps on the Groupon voucher and was told that I couldn't use any of the services. The woman on the phone tried to sell me the full package with 20% off and then started yelling at me. She took my number and said I would be getting a call back in 30 minutes. I never received the call. Very disappointed.

I come here all the time. Truly the best facial and microdermabrasion and oxygen facial. The staff is very friendly. Great and free parking. Facility is clean and relaxibg enviroment.

I had a Groupon and went to the Eldridge St. location. The staff are very friendly, hospitable and graciously accomodating. Lenny gave me my massage. I told him specifically what I wanted him to work on and he helped me tremendously. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft - and yes, he has a gift! He is REALLY good!! He gave me a deep tissue massage focusing on my neck and back, which is where I hold my tension and I have been dealing with a lot at work. I was very tense. He also incorporated some really good mobility stretches which gave me the best kind of pops and snaps. I think my neck is 2 inches longer, or maybe my shoulders have finally relaxed by 2 inches! Susan gave me an organic facial. This is truly the best facial I have ever received. I usually get Aveda facials, which are nice, too. But whenever I get facials I always leave with a red splotchy face from the blemish cleaning. That did not happen today. Today, I was not red at all. My skin was cleaned (blemishes extracted). Yet, I left with a baby face. Honestly, a plump, healthy baby face! I had no make up on and felt so beautiful because my skin glowed and I have the face of a much younger person! I am so pleased with my experience. I highly recommed this place - and yes, I am a real customer. I don't know anyone there, nor had I heard of the Skin Station before the Groupon.

I've always had a great experience at skin station, in fact I had another amazing facial with a chemical peel today by Darren. I have very oily skin with very large pores and the few other places I've ever gone to for these treatments have left me very disappointed, not to mention the astronomical prices I've been charged. My skin condition has improved greatly over the years I've been coming here and I highly recommend skin station, the staff is friendly and very receptive.
