Total scam artist! Another disgrace to Vietnam! Avoid! WAY OVER PRICED FOR Vietnam!

Cheating and overcharging. My insurance company sent me to this hospital. I got an appointment with the doctor. He asked me about the issues and sent to X-ray (which was completely unnecessary) and ultrasound. I asked the stuff and the manager to email my insurance company about that but it took ages. Finally they send the information to my insurance company that I got help and prescription. But I didn't get anything! I even didn't sign the bill because the staff just doubled it from 360.000 VDN till 800.000 VDN! I spoke to manager by phone but nothing changed. So be careful with them and check everything in advance. Price is very high for every procedure as well. The staff's English is poor. My experience with them was bad. Better to stay healthy))

The doctor for foreigners is either incompetent or a scam artist. I went in because I've had the flu for a week, and the doctor suggested I get X-rays and that they put a camera down my nose so they can look at my chest. These are both costly procedures and extremely atypical for normal flu symptoms. (I declined because that seems insane for anyone who has gone to normal doctor before). The doctor also tried to heavily oversell medicine to me. When the doctor gave me medicine, they charged me without telling me what they were giving me, and it turned out he prescribed 4 types of pills! Including two antibiotics at the same time. It took an hour to return the medication and explain that there was no way I needed so many drugs for the flu. Go anywhere else.

Hoan My has nice-looking facilities but poor service, especially from the surly receptionist and smooth-talking manager. Like a previous reviewer, I was quoted a higher price upon arrival than when making an appointment on the phone (and was then asked to pay up front before receiving any services). I declined and went to a public hospital instead, which had lower prices, longer wait times, bigger crowds, and yet a better attitude from staff. The quality of the doctors is probably the same. Private is not always better in Vietnam! Of course, if you can afford it, the Danang Family Practice clinic is much superior to other options, but there are some services they don't provide.
