A few nice buildings and a greenish courtyard in a fairly small enclosure.
It is interesting to learn that there have been a thousand years of higher education and testing. But, not worth more than 45 minutes, as there are only about 2 or 3 signs explaining what you are seeing. The concessions sales inside a historical place are off-putting.

Quite beautiful buildings in the center of Hanoi. Beautiful statues and interesting topiary based on the 12 sacred animals.

Arrived at the time when lots of vietnamese school children were in attendance to make offerings to Confucious.

Our children got bored quite quickly. Even the gift shop, full of usual nik naks, was boring to them.

Very crowded. The lotus ponds had nothing in. I imagine they can be quite beautiful but not in April.

A one time event for us. Entrance fee is 30,000 Dong.
