Clean comfortable room. Helpful staff and can speak English ... walking distance to backpacker/bar area yet far enough away to be quiet at night

The suite that we stayed in was spacious and quite decent. However, the condition of the facilities was a letdown due to long term neglect. Both bathrooms were dated with much of the fittings missing or falling apart, water heater broke down from the second night, safe could not be open due to low batt, hair dryer that doesn't work and the list goes on. Do expect plenty of noise from the traffic below and from the school just opposite the hotel if you are staying in this room. Staff appears to be helpful and friendly but their insincerity shows.
