Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi

Stayed one week during the rainy season (October 2017).

An oasis in Hanoi - a stone's throw from the old quarter without the district's hellishly acrid roadside air pollution. Think black boogers after a stroll through it's narrow, scooter clogged streets. Hard to find reliable AQI readings but working in China I can say it really is on another level.

Impeccably attentive service. Everyone without fail was friendly and helpful. Huan at the door and the blonde fellow in the blue suit at the restaurant definitely went above and beyond.

Breakfast is top notch. Gym is clean and not busy. Pricey without a pool but check their website for good deals.

Clean throughout. Housekeeping efficent and non intrusive. Views are better on the front facing suites though the back views aren't bad.

Power sockets for all types - even UK plugs.

Imagine my surprise when they didn't stock movenpick ice cream! Nevermind. I will be back: they offer free room upgrades for returnees as of this post's writing.

TL;DR good building, location and services. Great people. Check website for direct deals - especially since aggregate sites won't let you modify bookings downstream.

Fantastic Hotel with the kindest service and outgoing friendly staff.
Rooms of the highest standards, a broad and tasty breakfast buffet and an extraordinary Gym and Spa area.

Staying 6 days. Check in today. Terrible services and staffs.

1. First day, door man said good bye to me and slammed the door when I took a taxi. I just checked in and good bye??

2. I took 1hr massage at a spa inside this hotel. The female masseur suggested me a special massage (happy ending) and I was surprised to hear. My relaxation was gone.

Never use this terrible hotel again. This is the worst experience in my whole life.

Most enjoyable stay. Great staff and very attentive yo guests needs. Restaurant great with good food and helpful staff

A nice hotel with excellent rooms, a good restaurant and friendly staff. It only disappoints me for not having a swimming pool.
