That dough crispy fried bread with the soup left over from the noodle becomes a mooshy flaky goodness when you bite the ends of put it in the soup and pucture it with the chopstick.while your waiting for ir to saturate, use the spoon and slurp away! Good stuff!!

Delicious hole in the wall. Look for the metal sign on the ground level that says PHO THIN. Full of locals, their hearty beef pho with green onions and a side basket of fried dough is the perfect way to start the day. Perfect noodles and broth.

very good. i think this one is my best pho bo in Hanoi. space is little crowd and not that clen(like every other place in Vietnam) but it is worth it.

Great Pho experience. Everything people are complaining about is what makes it a fun and good place to eat. Yes, it is crowded. Could be cleaner (probably wouldn't get an "A" rating in LA). You get seated picnic table style with about 10 people per table (if you are thin), We were the only causcasians in the place since it seems to appeal to locals. A 10 minute walk from the Sofitel hotel. Food is served within seconds to minutes from ordering at the front door. Tasty Pho; noodles and beef and broth flavorful. We arrive about 7:30 pm on a weeknight so even though the place was packed, the server jammed us into a table. Tight fit but not uncomfortable. Couple sitting next to us spoke English and explained why it is so popular. The stir fry beef makes it unique apparently. And the best part is the bill. A bowl costs 50,000 dong (a little more than $2.00. After spending almost $100 at a highly rated Vietnamese restaurant the night before which was not particularly good, this was a nice way to spend time with locals and experience some very good Pho. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

It is not typical Hanoi phở but it is very tasty. Beside the quality of pho, everything here seems bad: bad service, crowded, hot, small space, noisy
