In the heart of District 1, you can just walk around and you will be able to explore a lot already. There is no elevator though so prepare your legs. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The food is great - they even allowed us to take out our breakfast since we have to go to Cambodianvery early.

Its a good hotel if you want to stay in hcmc close to pham ngu lao, pay not too much money but have a separate bathroom and if you dont want shared bath accomodations. Its not a 4 or 5 star but for those you pay also triple. If you know the difference between shiny 5 star looks and cleanliness, then you can see that its kept clean, even if it is not a new hotel. Staff is very friendly. Place is in a quiet side street. Can sleep at night despite being close to bui vien. Can buy water right at the hotel. Its not a place where cheap girls hang around which i consider a plus. (Dont worry bui vien is near) However you need to be ok with climbing stairs as it has no elevator. For most people under 40 this should be no prob

Chanh is a superb host.
Clean, comfortable abd quiet.
Right in the middle of it all.
There is no elevator. If you can't climb look elsewhere.

Good location, near to walking Street and a little away from the road, so not too noisy. Hotel facilities and cleanliness are 3 star level. Very good value for money.

Stayed there for two nights, all staffs are very nice and friendly. Always welcome you with smiles and helpful. It's at best location too, very close to everything but away from the noise. Room is very clean and decent size too. Will definitely come back again.
