The place is very convenient for the tourist. A lot of tourist agency surrounding the place. Easy and convenient to plan your itinerary. Staff are very helpful and polite. The room is clean. Buffet breakfast is available.

Location is very convenient, it is near everywhere. Price is affordable. Comes with free breakfast. Omelettes are cooked to order.

My first time I was here 2016 March.. The place was excellent.. But this time it's been changed.. Been moderate.. You can stay for a short time otherwise better not.. Though the staff of the hotel were excellent.. Helpful. Friendly.. But other factors of hotels is not so

My friend and I stayed there on and off as we travelled around Vietnam but came back to La Felix as a home base over the winter.
Hotel PROS
Close proximity to Market. Highly recommend going for a visit. Across the street for a park, when I was there, there was a street market as well. Cute clothing.
The breakfast was so-so. Not a wide range. Decent.
The hotel staff at the counter and the bellboys(?) were excellent. Very helpful. Good guides, helped with SIM cards and other miscellaneous things.
They allowed early checkout which is great.
The facilities and amenities themselves were good.
Hotel CONS.
The air-conditioning broke, leaking water all over one bed. They took a few hrs to fix it but it shouldn't have happened.
I tried to go down to the restaurant for dinner by myself. I was sent away because they were having a staff dinner. Burger King is super close, so I ate there instead.
We stayed during Christmas and New Year's. There's a bar next door- it was SUPER noisy. I flew out Christmas morning to Hue and had bad sleep the night before. I flew back NYE then sleep a night before flying out to Ha Noi on NY. Same deal. To be far, they are the busiest nights.
Do NOT try the salon downstairs. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Tl;dr Recommend for short stays. Avoid during public holidays due to poor sound insulation.

Okay place to stay a night or two, but nothing to write home about. Staff were helpful to a certain degree, but greedy and wanting money to do anything outside of their normal job description. My phone was stolen when I was in Ho Chi Minh and the police report wouldn't be ready to pick up until a few days after I left the country. The hotel staff said they would collect it at the police station and email it to me for a fee (forgot how much, but a few dollars). Well, even after two email reminders I never heard from them. Will probably not stay at this place again.
