I definitely recommend visiting this place. It is a very beautiful garden, very shady with lots plants. So cozy and welcoming.

Phantasea Tropical Garden is a treasure trove of beautiful plant life. I spent several happy hours photographing and learning about Epiphytes - non parasitic plants - orchids of all sorts - plants unlike any I have seen. There are places to sit and observe the miriad birds and other creatures who inhabit the garden. Patsy and Denise are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the plants, animals and the islands. They also sell orchids, air plants, eggs, feathers and refreshments. I highly recommend visiting. Take a camera, a book, a sketch book and enjoy! A wonderful break from the beach, and for local residents a lovely place to frequent.

You can tell this place is a labor of love, the orchids and variety of plants is great. A cool little hide away. My daughter loved the flowers, pointing out the little lizards. The incline isn't steep, but it may be hard to navigate for those who may need assistance. There are little decks and gazebos along the away and the views out to the ocean below are nice. Only three designated spaces at the entrance.

This is an oasis of beauty and tranquility on St Thomas. The variety of orchids and other plants is stunning. The owner is friendly and eager to tell you what's new, as she is always adding and improving. As a St Thomas resident, this has become one of my favorite spots to come just to relax in the shade and watch the anoles.
