Jaselle was very sweet and great at accommodating us with a jeep for our one day visit to St. John. We are staying in St. Thomas and wanted to spend a day at St. John exploring the island,on our own, without a tour this time. While all the other companies refused to do a one day rental, most usually require a 4 day minimum rental, I was able to book just for a day quickly and reasonably priced without a problem. I highly recommend! :)

We rented from Courtesy for 2 weeks in Feb/Mar 2016. They weren't our first choice, in fact they were about our 25th choice, as we procrastinated terribly and let car rental go until about a week before departure. At that point, going down a list, desperately dialing one agency after another and getting answers that no one had ANYTHING available, we were HUGELY relieved when Courtesy said they could accommodate us. The employees we dealt with were helpful and polite, but the car we had was really something else. It was a Rav 4, pretty beat up on the outside; they didn't even bother to do a walk around before we drove away like most rental places do. One tire was low on air, but they took us to the gas station to add some air, and none of the tires had superior tread. We were cracking up as we started the drive to Coral Bay because pretty much every warning light on the dash that could light up was indeed lit! They were unconcerned. That said, the Rav 4 hung in there like a champ. The tires made it up and down those crazy roads, though sometimes on a tight uphill turn we burned out a little! We did have a flat one day on that tire that had been low at the beginning, but amazingly, the spare on the car was NEW, so we changed it and went on our merry little way. Was it perfect? No. Did everything work out great? Yes. I guess if I could give them 3.5 I would. Maybe if we'd planned ahead better and had gotten a better choice of cars with them I'd give them a 5!

I recommend Courtesy Car Rental if you are traveling to US Virgin Islands. We stayed in Cruz Bay, St.John.
We rented a car for a week.
On day one, the battery died in the car, likely from the previous renter leaving the lights on.
But, the owner took care of it right away and we did not miss a beat.
I recommend that you bring "proof of car insurance" and pay with a credit card. (Required) Otherwise, it is an extra $14/day to apply their insurance coverage. I do wish they would have mentioned this when we called to reserve the vehicle.
The owner and staff at Courtesy Car Rental were very professional and the car was reliable. You can also park FREE in their parking lot whenever you go into town.

Very good service: prompt, courteous, no hassles. Picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry, no waiting. The Jeep was almost new, in excellent condition.
