I would highly recommend La Tapa for any special occasion or just in general! My friends and I went for my 21st birthday and the whole staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious as well! Their menu changes everyday so I am excited to come back and try something new.

La Tapa is the place you want to go for a delicious dinner and perfect service! We found this place classy the first time we passed by. We traveled in the end of February. In my opinion, what makes this place great is the owner Alexandra Ewald. My husband and I met this lady in the welcoming guests while we were checking out the menu, she was so friendly, and you could tell she knew the menu and the restaurant so well. I would say she had a very warm vibe. We came back the next day for dinner, and found out that the lady we met was the owner! The dinner was so perfectly cooked, healthy, delicious sauces, very balances. We even said hello to the kitchen stuff! Everyone was with a great smile on their face and very welcoming. This place worth every dollar spend!

Simple great food; lovely setting; friendly staff. We were there during a power outage and it was a chill, relaxed vibe. Let the bartenders help you pick your wine, get the langoustine, artichoke (if they have that day), bread/3 spreads. Actually get anything. It's all good.

So many interesting flavors and sauces! We wanted to get mussels and they said it was the only menu item that has not changed in years. They turned out to be great so we ordered seconds.
The best small plate I tried was the porkbelly with green papaya and mango. The duck leg was also fantastic. The have a large wine selection as well as full bar.
The seating on the sidewalk is pretty accessible but the main dining, bar, and bathrooms are down a few steps.
I would recommend and come back. It can get full so make a reservation just in case.
